Kavana is excited to run a series of events over the next few months on "Heart & Healing." Join us for the first event in this series, a book talk with author Rabbi Caryn Aviv on her book Unlearning Jewish Anxiety: How to Live with More Joy and Less Suffering. Join us for this virual talk, followed by Havdalah led by Rabbi Jay!

Rabbi Caryn Aviv is the Rabbinic Director of Judaism Your Own Way in Denver, CO. In this talk, she will explore how Jewish spirituality offers deep wisdom and simple practices to help release patterns of Jewish anxiety from our bodies and minds. Jewish anxiety is inherited trauma from our ancestors and an unsafe world. Rabbi Caryn believes we can learn to adjust our unconscious & anxious reactions to stress, fear, and uncertainty through increased awareness, curiosity, compassion, and courage.

Cost: This program is open to all. Kavana's adult learning opportunities are generally free of charge for our partnerswho help to offset the costs of operating the Kavana community by making a generous annual donation. For those who are not Kavana partners, we ask that you chip in $15 per session to help us cover program costs. Please reach out if you have any questions.
