Program

This intimate dinner-based program allows our 11-13 year olds the chance to build community as they strengthen their knowledge of Jewish identity, texts and history. Using both small and large group formats, the teens and tweens spend the evening playing games, debating, acting, and crafting. Through reflection, peer-to-peer activities, and the significance of being pre-and-post B’nai Mitzvah “young adults” the Middle School Program centers on self-discovery, values, identity and the day-to-day relevance of Judaism. *Pizza provided by Kavana.

Registration How-To:

All youth participants must be registered individually. If you're registering more than one child, please fill out separate registration forms for each.

This program is offered as a series, as consistent participation helps build a sense of community among this cohort. As series participants, we assume we will see registrants each session, unless told otherwise.

When registering, you will be prompted to indicate:

• If you are a Kavana partner or non-partner participant
• If you will be making payments monthly or annually (in-full)
• If you will be paying by check or credit card (3% processing fee)

We strive for participation of all interested youth and do not want registration cost to be a barrier. Please contact us at info@kavana.org to remove financial barriers. 

If you have any questions, or would like to discuss programming further please contact Director of Education, Rachel (RLO) Osias. Non-partner registrants will need to email RLO directly for a registration password.
