Join with community for togetherness and soul-lifting song and prayer as we welcome in the magic of Shabbat. 

In this 75-minute service, led by Kohenet Traci Marx (she/they) and our amazing band of musicians (drums, clarinet, bass, guitar!), we sing and pray our way through key elements of Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv (the evening service), using traditional and new ways of engaging with the prayers.  Music and poetry/guided meditation from diverse voices along with our own reflections support the deepening and elevating of our personal and collective prayers.

This service aims to be feminist, inclusive, accessible, and counter-oppressive. Song sheets will be available.

No matter what is happening in your inner and outer world, you are welcome here. We know how much is happening in many of our lives as well as in our world and we acknowledge the range of experiences with which people are showing up. We offer a space, anchored in love, that aims to have many access points to joy, connection, and witness.
