What better way to observe the agricultural holiday of Sukkot than by spending time as a community on a farm?! We'll glean produce (this means: pick what's leftover in the fields) and donate it to a local food bank. Last year, we harvested many many boxes of kale, collards, green-beans and more! It's a great opportunity to hang out on a farm, do a little Jewish learning with Rabbi Rachel Nussbaum, meet some new friends, and get your hands dirty with a very tactile community service project. Everyone is welcome to participate (partners and non-partners, adults and kids alike).
