Explore Judaism as spiritual practice. We'll cover a variety of modalities experientially and through reflection on sources in this 5-week series. You're encouraged to come to the full series to experience the range of practices available; drop-ins are also welcome. No experience necessary.
We will wrap up this series with Prayer as Embodied Spiritual practice on Wednesday, 3/13. Jewish prayer is a practice meant to effect a different consciousness through words, repetition, melody/chant, and movement. We will explore some of the many spiritual intentions, goals, and conceptions of Jewish prayer, with a focus on its embodied aspects and will engage experientially with this practice through a short, focused prayer.
