Please join with the Kavana Cooperative this Friday, July 12 at 8:30pm for a Shabbat-themed Lights for Liberty gathering. This is part of an international effort organized by activists in the U.S. to protest the inhuman treatment of human beings, young and old, in human detention camps throughout the United States. Shabbat for Liberty, open to all friends and neighbors, will meet at the north lawn of the International Fountain at the Seattle Center. We'll light Shabbat candles and continue on with music, prayer, meditation, and words to fortify us for the work ahead. Please RSVP so we have an estimate of numbers. Bring your own shabbat candles and wear your Kavana t-shirt if you have one.
