We’re excited to be back in the groove of our regular Wednesday evening "Living Room Learning" text study group with Rabbi Rachel! Over recent years, many folks in our community have expressed interest in delving more deeply into Jewish life-cycle rituals. We are embarking with a five-week series on death and mourning (of which we have three sessions to go - feel free to jump in any time!). A wide range of texts -- halakhah (Jewish law), liturgy, and stories from our tradition -- will serve as windows into conversations about the end of life, Jewish burial practices, mourning, and memory. Rabbi Rachel promises that even with serious subject matter, we will have a great time learning together, snacking, and building community (as always) -- we hope you will plan to join us!
