Kavana's rabbis and a number of Kavana partners are teaming up to bring LRL back, in a special summer edition! In the weeks spanning the holiday of Tisha B'Av, Jewish tradition witnesses the brokenness of the world and offers messages of comfort and healing. Each session below will explore the theme of Brokenness and Healing from different angles.

• July 27: It's customary during the approach to Tisha B'Av to study rabbinic texts about the Hurban (the destruction of the Temple) and its aftermath. Rabbi Rachel will lead us in this session. NOTE: the 7/27 session has reached capacity for the indoor space we were able to secure with AC during the heatwave. If you RSVP after 3pm on Tuesday, July 26, we will be sure to send you details for August 10th as the date gets closer.

• August 10: Thanks to Libby & Les Cohen for hosting this session! Rabbi Jay LeVine will explore Jewish traditions on the element of Fire as a source of destruction and renewal.

Snacks and texts -- in both English & Hebrew -- will be provided. All are welcome (for either or both sessions)!
