It’s been quite a year! As the Jewish New Year approaches, our primary goal for this Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is to create spaces – both in person and virtually – where the Kavana community can celebrate being together. We want everyone to feel cared for and safe, in order to be able to do the deep reflective and introspective work of the season!

We have worked hard to put plans in place that allow maximal flexibility (and, of course, safety) for our community. Some of the solutions we’ve come up with for this year have the potential to make this our most powerful High Holiday experience yet, and closest to our vision of turning the days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur into urban spirituality retreats for the Kavana community.

First, please make sure you click here to read over all of the details before registering.  There’s a lot of information to share, and we encourage you to take it all in, and then to register to join us in whatever ways feel comfortable and meaningful to you.

Advanced registration is required, whether you plan to participate in person or online. This year especially, it’s possible that details could change right up until the last minute. We ask you to register by Friday, September 3rd to ensure that you don’t miss pertinent information and updates. (Starting August 30th, payment will be required at the time of registration in order to receive the links for Rosh Hashanah.)
