Join Kavana for a panel discussion event as part of National Refugee Shabbat, a project of HIAS and Jewish Family Service of Seattle. Kavana partners Eric LeVine -- a Board Member and former Board President of Jewish Family Service -- and Jeff Sprung -- Assistant Attorney General for Washington State -- and a refugee couple will share their expertise and experience in confronting challenges facing refugees and immigrants today.
This event will begin with Havdalah and will include a light dessert. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about an issue that is both more urgent and more challenging than at any time in recent history.
