Rabbi Jay LeVine and Kavana partner Bruce Kochis will present the history, purpose, and practice of Mussar, a distinct spiritual strand in the tapestry of Jewish tradition. At its core, the work of Mussar is that of building ethical and spiritual habits. Habits are woven deep into our psyche and physical bodies. Reducing our negative habits and strengthening our positive habits takes patience and a plan. Mussar helps with both.

There will be a relational component of the presentation for those wanting to connect with each other, but for those who just want to take in information, the breakout rooms will be optional.
