The Kavana community is engaged in tzedek (justice) and tikkun (repair) work in so many ways. Last week, we began to dig into some of these concepts in our Yom Kippur text study session. This week, as we celebrate the holiday of Sukkot, anyone who's interested in the topic is invited to join us as we share what we've been working on and thinking about, offer each other support and advice, and begin to deepen Kavana's internal social justice network. Chava Monastersky and Matthew Offenbacher will facilitate. Let us know if you'd like to host in your sukkah or backyard... if we don't find a host, we'll meet in a park and communicate the location details to everyone who has RSVPed by the end of the week.
