Shortly after the election last year, the Kavana community came together for a very productive town hall meeting to discuss what we, as a community, could do to promote social justice in the midst of a fraught political landscape. Now, one year later, many of our fears have been realized and it feels as if there is more work to do than ever before. Join us for our next town hall meeting to discuss where we are with our current social justice priority areas (refugees/immigrants, homelessness and systemic racism), what our next steps will be, and how we can be responsive yet resilient in the face of so many frequent challenges to social justice issues that we hold dear.
