Come learn about the Jewish response to the refugee crisis and how Jewish Family Service of Seattle is responding. We will spend a little time together learning about the crisis and the Jewish imperative behind working to welcome these refugee families. At then end of the program, we will have a brainstorming session to determine how the Kavana community can creatively address some of the challenges that JFS faces in it's resettlement efforts.

This will also be the culmination of our Kavana Bedding Drive for JFS and we will learn the final total of how many bedding sets Kavana Partners and friends have purchased.

This event is ideally suited for adults and for teens/pre-teens, as it will be learning and discussion based.
