Linda Gradstein is an award winning journalist who has covered Israel for more than 30 years. She also teaches journalism at Hebrew University and NYU-Tel Aviv and is on her way soon to teach an intensive course in podcasting at NYU Abu Dhabi. Linda speaks Hebrew and Arabic and lives in Jerusalem with her husband and four children. And, most saliently, Linda has agreed to speak with the Kavana community (and our friends at Mishkan and The Kitchen, with whom we're co-running an Israel-Palestine trip in June/July) to bring us up to speed on important contemporary questions. In this early-morning Zoom session, she will speak on "Tribal Identity vs. Israeliness: Identity in Israel Today" for about 40 minutes, followed by time for interactive Q&A. Those who will be traveling with Kavana are especially encouraged to attend, but this event is open to all members of the Kavana community.
